Celia Bowers - 1st Runner-Up
1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
Because everyone can appreciate Southern cuisine! South Pittsburg, Tennessee is home to the National Cornbread Festival that was featured on the Food Network. This festival is every year in April. See you there!
2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
My champagne gold plated desk where I record weekly episodes of my podcast, Love Waits for You. And my one and only fur coat my husband bought me for an anniversary.
3.What do you love to cook and why?
Well, my husband is the cook in our household. I’ve never been gifted in this area. I’ll admit, I’ve had the same pan that I’ve used since my early 20’s. I bought it for about $15, which was a lot of money on my budget back then. Although I can cook anything and everything in that pan, whatever I cook never turns out quite as delicious as when he makes it.
4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
Sleep! Adults need seven to nine hours each night. Blood pressure levels may elevate, inflammation levels can rise, and managing blood sugar may become more challenging when we don’t get a good night’s sleep. These changes, if prolonged, can potentially contribute to the development of various diseases. I may be safe averaging seven, but eight would be heaven.
5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
I competed in and placed in a mud run. Job well done and it can’t get dirtier or quite honestly, more fun, than that!
